This July, Roald Dahl’s Storytelling Joins Forces With Steven Spielberg

When it comes to family entertainment and cinema, there are no bigger names than Disney and Steven Spielberg. This July, the two have teamed up to bring audiences “The BFG,” a live action 3-D film based on the classic short story by legendary storyteller Roald Dahl. Dahl’s works have earlier been adopted into films such as “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” and “The Witches.” The film also reunites Steven Spielberg with late screenwriter Melissa Mathison, with whom he collaborated on the 1982 blockbuster “E.T. the Extra Terrestrial.”
